Boards firmly attached but with internal foxing and dampstain along outer edges of cardboard pages, mainly outside the pictorial margins. Dean's Diploma Series No. 99. Not dated, published circa 1892 with publisher's address 160S Fleet Street. An uncommon Dean & Son volume, brightly illustrated original alphabet book includes racist rhyme for the letter X. "X for the X Little (--) we guess, Whose numbers kept getting one less and one less, For nine disappeared by their own foolishness."
